We are seeing an uptick in Covid cases in the school district. As such, here is an update on our school Covid procedures:
We no longer have a Covid policy. Students/staff can return to school/work when they are fever free for 24 hours without using fever-reducing medication, no diarrhea for 24 hours, symptoms are improving and they feel well enough to participate in class/work. If they have a cough, it needs to be mild upon return.
We are hearing that the clinics are suggesting isolation and giving out return dates. Parents/staff can choose to follow their guidelines and the absences should be excused but as a district, we do not require them to isolate.
