Due to the forecast of snow this morning which continues through the day at fairly high rates and increasing winds which will make travel more of a challenge from noon through this evening we have decided to do an e-learning day. Today is Give to the Max Day. Minnesota's annual online giving holiday, which encourages donations to local nonprofits and schools. A large-scale, one-day online fundraising event organized by GiveMN.org, it began in 2009 and has since become a major event that raises millions of dollars for causes like education, food security, and health services.
People can go to the GiveMN.org website, search for their favorite causes, such as the Down Syndrome Association of MN
In the 16 years before 2025, the event had raised more than $400 million. It helps fund a wide range of essential community work across the state.
