Monitoring Student Progress and Growth
East Grand Forks Public Schools has a system of assessment in place in both reading and math. Assessment types include universal screenings, diagnostic assessments, progress monitoring assessments, formative assessments, and summative assessments. Each of these levels of assessment serve an important purpose in our overall plan from identifying students in need of intervention or enrichment, to identifying individual student’s instructional needs, to state and federal reporting.
