Congratulations to Aria Nikle , 5th grade, for placing 3rd at the North Dakota State Wrestling Tournament March 28th in Bismarck. Aria's parents are Josh and Danielle Nikle and Aria is on the GF Gladiators team.

Yesterday we got to enjoy the 3rd grade music program, South Point Takes a Spin" which took us back to the 1950's and a variety of Elvis Presley songs.

Just a friendly reminder that registration is still open for the Scrubs Camp, sponsored by Altru and Lake Region State College!
There are still a few openings in both groups, and we would love to have your students join us on April 12th.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore healthcare careers through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences.

This past Friday Rusty and Rosie gained their super powers back. South Point students thwarted the Book Bandits by reading 21, 945 books or chapters with 3rd grade reading the most at 8, 940 books or chapters!

Last night South Point held their Bingo for Books. Mrs. Kallock, Title 1 teacher, summed up our I Love to Read month by stating, "Along with the Literacy Team, I would like to thank everyone for their enthusiasm and dedication to promoting reading throughout this year's "I Love to Read" month. March was full of exciting assemblies and activities for our students. The encouragement you all give to our students on a daily basis makes a difference!
The 'Bingo for Books' family event was held yesterday evening and it was a great success. A big thank you to everyone who helped set up, assisted with the event, and brought their families to play bingo.
