We had our first Spot Assembly yesterday. The theme was, what does it mean to be an "Emotion Coach?"
Respectful, Responsible and Safe.

Aaliyah James is our Good News Call of the Day.
Ms. Melquist, paraprofessional, nominated her. Here is what she had to say about Aaliyah: "Aaliyah is a great classmate. In class, she is always helping others around her and assisted her desk mate with his chromebook when he wasn’t sure where to go."

Hailey Carr is our Good News Call of the Day.
She was nominated by Mrs. Schomer on the first day of school. Here's what Mrs. Schomer had to say about Hailey:
"Hailey is such a good classmate. She helped guide another student through filling out her attendance sheet while I was helping the rest of the group. She was kind, respectful, and helpful!"

We cannot wait for our South Point students to see our updated Library. It is FABULOUS! A huge shout out and THANK YOU to our South Point Custodial staff, Dara Omang and Aaron Kroetsch for all your hard work to make this all come together. You are appreciated.

A HUGE thank you to Neil and Danny for making SOUTH POINT Field Day a success! It was a great way to end the year! Also a big shout out to South Point PTO for providing treat bags and freeze pops.

Our Good News Call of the Day is Ruby Walter. Her teacher, Mrs. Stevenson, nominated her and this is what she had to say about Ruby: "Ruby adds such positivity to our classroom by doing things such as taking time to ask students and staff about their day, or giving compliments to others. Your thoughtfulness brightens our classroom!" Congratulations Ruby - we are so proud of you!

Our Good News Call of the day is Sawyer Lake. She was nominated by paraprofessional Mrs. Osowski. Here is what Mrs. Osowski had to say about Sawyer: "Just about every day of this school year Sawyer, during outside recess days, was very kind to stop and take one of her peers by the hand and take her outside with their class." Congratulations Sawyer - we are so proud of you!

Our Good News Call of the Day is Gianna Santos. Her teacher, Ms. Armstrong, nominated GG and this is what she had to say about her: "GG is always helping out her classmates. She doesn't care whether they are friends or not, she is willing to go out of her way for them. She has been working so hard in the classroom. Keep up the hard work GG!" Congratulations GG - we are so proud of you!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you to Mr. Moffitt and all the students that participated in our Variety Show yesterday. The talent is amazing and so fun to watch. Mr. Moffitt worked hard to put it all together for all of us to enjoy and it was greatly appreciated.

Alex Lund is our Good News Call of the Day. His teacher, Mrs. Browne, nominated him. Here is what she had to say about Alex: "Alex helped out a friend in class who was upset. He is always trying to make others feel happy. He is so kind to others. You are awesome Alex!" Congratulations Alex - we are so proud of you.

Addison Albrecht is our Good News Call of the Day. She was nominated by Ms. Dohman and Mrs. Keller. Here is what they had to say about her: "Addison has been a kind friend to a student in her class with special needs. She goes out of her way to always say “Hello” to her. She also will swing with her at recess. Addison is a great leader who shows what inclusion is all about!" Congratulations Addison - we are so proud of you!
