Our Good News Call of the Day is for Reyna Congdon.
Her teacher, Mrs. Stevenson, nominated her and this is what she said about Reyna: "Reyna is such a hard worker. She comes to school each day ready to learn. She’s responsible and always one of the first students to get her materials out or help clean up the room at the end of the day. Way to be a role model in our classroom!"

World Down Syndrome Day is a time to celebrate differences, promote inclusion, and remind our students that everyone belongs. March 21 marks this important day, offering a wonderful opportunity to spread kindness, build awareness, and embrace what makes each of us unique 🩵💛

Book Bingo was held at South Point last evening, and it was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event so special. A HUGE shoutout to our dedicated volunteers and staff who helped make this fun and educational evening possible while promoting a love of reading in our students! 📚✨

"Today during intervention one of Brock's classmates/friend won a class game and he cheered him on and clapped for him. Even though he didn't win, he still supported his peers and was happy for them. Brock has been a great leader in intervention time. He shows respect and makes positive choices."

The Annual Music Booster Fundraiser SPUD-Tacular held last night was a wonderful evening enjoyed by family and friends! Guests were treated to a variety of musical performances, including our very own South Point students.

Reminder about the upcoming healthcare event on Saturday, March 28th and we encourage your student who have expressed an interest in healthcare careers to register.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore healthcare pathways, learn about educational options, and connect with professionals in the field. We had our I Love to Read 2026 kick off today. The theme is, "South Point's Reading Run-IditaREAD".
We will celebrate the joy of reading during the month of March with a variety of activities. The goal is for our students to gain a greater appreciation for the skill of reading and be motivated to read! We are hopeful that our activities will promote parent participation in reading with their children.
