"The weather outside is frightening", however, that did not stop us for our Winter Walk to School Day!

Brycen Von Rueden is our Good News Call of the Day!
Mrs. Vicki Johnson, paraprofessional, nominated Brycen and had this to say about him:
"Brycen assisted opening the Room 106 door as he saw our arms were full of lunch trays. Thank you Brycen, you are a rock star!"

Ms. Freeman, 5th Grade Teacher at South Point earned Trident Certification in the area of classroom management in January. Achieving certification entails using specific non verbal skills successfully with students in order to increase productivity and independence while building relationships.
Congratulations to Ms. Freeman!!!

"A student was refusing to go to class and I asked Hudson if he could assist the student to class. Hudson said, “sure” and was able to get the student to his class. Good job Hudson helping your peers!"

Greetings, This is East Grand Forks School Superintendent Kevin Grover. Due to the current snowfall, wind, and road conditions school will be closed and students/staff will participate in an E-Learning Day. Any student or family that has questions on what their child should be working on can email teachers. Any staff that is not sure on what to do should contact their supervisor. This means no preschool, afterwave, or school activities will happen today. Thank you and stay safe.
