Save the Date for Kindergarten Roundup on April 16th

A "Good News Call of the Day" went out for Calvin. He is incredibly kind and inclusive to all of his classmates. Today he partnered up with a student for our morning meeting game, who really wanted to be his partner, even if it wasn't who he necessarily would have chosen. He wanted to make sure they felt included. He also works hard at school and is a great helper. #EGFPride

The upcoming 1st Grade Program at New Heights Elementary will be Tuesday, February 24th with both matinee and evening shows for each class. The name of the show is “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.”
Afternoon shows (reserved for students/faculty and families who cannot attend the evening performance) at 1:15 pm - Gregoire, Hedlund, Maixner and at 2:00 pm - Baxter, Littlejohn, Swang, Benson. Evening shows at 5:30 pm - Gregoire, Hedlund, Maixner
and at 6:30 pm - Baxter, Littlejohn, Swang, Benson. See you at the show!

Today, a "Good News Call of the Day" went out for Ethan. He has such a kind heart and often offers help to other students who are feeling upset or distressed, without ever being prompted. It really shows his empathy and character. #EGFPride

Renley is our "Good News Call of the Day. " Renley is incredibly considerate and thoughtful, always respectful and aware of others. He works hard to make everyone feel welcome and included, and he brings such a positive attitude to school each day. #EGFPride

The East Grand Forks School District is sponsoring an Early Childhood Screening for all children 3 to 5 years of age (as of February 23, 2026).
