Full Year Options
Jazz Band and Pop Singers
Jazz Band and Pop Singers are considered full school year activities. They are before-school programs. Jazz Band is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th band students. Pop Singers is open to 7th and 8th choir members.
FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) is a full year program offered to all middle school students. Meetings are every other Wednesday and there is no cost with the exception of trips taken.
Yearbook is a full school year activity. It is open to all middle school students with meetings at various dates and times. There is no cost to join.
Speech begins in January and continues through March. This is an activity offered for both boys and girls.
The National Geography Bee is a nationwide competition for U.S. schools and is designed to encourage the teaching and study of geography around the world. Central Middle School will be participating in the Bee again this year. The competition is open to all Central Middle school students and will be held in January. The winner of the CMS Bee will have the opportunity to qualify for the Minnesota state Bee.
