Attention parents of young children

The East Grand Forks School District, in accordance with State law, is sponsoring Early Childhood Screening for all children age 3 to 5 years of age. Screening will be held March 3 and 5. A child only needs to complete screening once before entering kindergarten. All residents and open enrolled students of School District #595 are welcome to attend at no cost to the family. This screening is required for entrance into Kindergarten and School Readiness Preschool. Screening should be completed when a child is 3 to 4 years old. The purpose of screening is to guarantee that all young children in Minnesota are well equipped and ready for learning. Only Minnesota residents are eligible to be screened.

Appointments are scheduled every 20 minutes but you should plan to be at your appointment for 60-90 minutes. If you have a child age 3 or more on the screening dates listed below and have not previously participated in Early Childhood Screening, we are asking that you use the following links to sign up for a screening time.
