  • Welcome to New Heights Elementary

     

    New Heights educates students in Kindergarten, First and Second grade. All students are involved in Music, Library and Phy. Ed., along with robust curriculums of literacy and math.  Students are also treated to Art instruction throughout the year.  There are currently 21 sections of students and classroom teachers. There are also special educators, counselors, and interventionists to serve our students.  Mrs. Pederson is the Principal and Mr. Grassel is the Assistant Principal. New Heights is proud of the community of learners that attend here.  We value cooperating with parents and the community to empower all students to become responsible lifelong learners.

    Helping children and adults reach their highest potential

     

    S.M.A.R.T. at Home - Have you ever shockingly discovered your child has scribbled on the walls? Most children have engaged in the act of writing on walls, so odds are you've had the pleasure of parenting through this behavior. What you may not realize is working on a vertical surface is beneficial for children!

    This article explores how to build foundational skills necessary for hand and wrist development and includes many ideas for families at home.
